Friday- Friday was a good day. I was so glad mom was here to help. Becca and Jeff also came to visit the kids. Nikki woke up Jackson when she was going to bed, so they went down pretty late. Liz and Dad got here around 930 and were able to meet Alli.
Saturday- Saturday we all went together to the Children's Museum. We had so much fun! Jackson, All, Liz, Mom and I stayed in the 3 and under room the whole time. Nikki, Dad, and Steve stayed on the climber almost the whole time. They absolutely loved it! That night Steve's family came over and we all had fun together.
Sunday- Sunday we all went to church and then had to say goodbye to my family. It was sad, but, there were no tears :-). We spent the afternoon at Mark's house. While not completely "child friendly", there was enough to keep busy, and they seemed to have fun. Someone taught Nikki what a fire hydrant was, and I taught her the difference between a bridge and a fence. It was fun to see her labeling everything during our walk. The night was fairly smooth, I was ready to go back to work.
:-) there were tears.. you just didn't see them... toward the end of church it hit me i had to leave and it was so hard... i cried on daddy's shoulder and Steve completely helped when he said.. "don't worry.. we'll come to visit often" and then plans were made for Columbus Weekend... that totally helped to know i would see you & Steve and the kids again very soon... i don't expect the leaving will get any easier... will be getting a cam very soon so we can skype often. Love you so much... Mom.
